In 2016 before P1 Hosting, a website design company was created. A website design company that had no interest in entering the web hosting market. After bad experiences with several web hosts under shared/reseller plan this needed to change.
The web design company wanted to supply hosting. Reliable hosting to compliment the design service. The design company got into renting VPS servers. VPS hosting was used to better manage resources. In time issues cropped up. Issues that were out of the design companies control.
That design company was/is us and here we are today with rackspace we lease and equipment we own filling that rackspace. This gives us full control of hardware and software. In turn having the flexibility, experience and knowledge to provide fast, reliable hosting.
We also know the pain of bad hosting and how much difficulty it can cause when you’re providing web development, SEO services, trying to build a brand, etc.
We’re not interested in making big profits from overloaded servers. We’re interested in fast, reliable hosting.
We changed from shared to VPS to now colocating. We can finally say we have achieved fast and reliable hosting. This is something we now want to offer to others. We believe anybody should be able to have great hosting without having to maintain their own hardware.
